Three pictures of the girls selling pumpkins.  The first is with Mrs. Smith, Lucia's teacher from last year.  We girls made approximately $60, which is not bad considering we sold the pumpkins for 20 cents a pound.  All the pumpkin's were grown in our garden.

Labor day weekend

 

A couple pictures from Labor Day weekend.  The first is the girls in front of the garden.  The garden has been doing great.  We have been overwelmed with produce and have had to make several runs to drop off the extra at the food bank.  The second is the girls on the lawn mower (don't worry they were going slow without the blade running).

A video of Amelie doing a cartwheel.  This is one of Amelie's first attempts and I think she did a wonderful cartwheel considering she is only 4 and all she did is watch me and go for it.  

 

Cabin trip with the girls

 

These picture are from a trip with the girls to the cabin near the end of June.  I have been doing some improvements to the cabin including installing sheetrock and have had to leave the girls behind.  They have been bugging me to go for quite a while so I squeezed in a trip in between all the other trips we have planned.  It ended up being a very rainy and cold weekend, but the girls still had lots of fun in the big playhouse in the woods.  The first picture is of Allie after she decided a human chair works great for her doggie butt.  The second is of the girls crashed after a long day of play.  The next is our camp fire and the last is of a walk in the rain (and mud). 

 

 

Family trip to Yellowstone

A few picture from our family trip to Yellowstone Park.  The first is Lucia and Amelie with some buffalo in the background.  We were pretty excited about the buffalo at this point, but we ended up seeing so many that the excitement was pretty much gone by the end of the day.  Sure wish we would have seen a bear or something like though. 

The second picture is of the family (minus me) in front of Yellowstone Falls.  The third picture is of the girls in front of a hot spring.  The forth is of Amelie on the way out of Yellowstone after a hard day of site seeing.  The last the girls looking at Mesa Falls, which is a little ways outside of Yellowstone.
